Scandinavia

The Scandinavian countries are very unique when comes to names or even geography. The countries are Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, and Denmark. The Vikings named Iceland to try and trick people into not going there because it was actually a warm place. The Scandinavian countries are located in the northern area of Europe. Scandinavian countries have a unique physical geography because of volcanoes and glaciers.

The Scandinavian countries have a unique physical geography. There are many different types such as fjords, which are formed by moving glaciers. There are also many glaciers, geysers, volcanoes, and mountains.

There are countless numbers of glaciers and volcanoes in the region. In Iceland alone there are over one hundred volcanoes and about twenty are active. The many glaciers of the region have an impact when it comes to making fjords. Glaciers provide the many fjords of the region. The glaciers and volcanoes are contributors to the region.
